Come learn the state dance of Sabah - the exclusive Sumazau - in a pleasant session at our studio!
Sumazau is a traditional dance originating from Kadazan Dusun. It is usually performed by the farmers during harvest season. Because the dance was inspired by eagles flying pattern, moves include arm gestures that float gracefully around shoulder level with gentle bending of the elbow and wrist or alternatively swung gently like a pendulum, parallel at the sides of the body.
In joining our class, you will learn how to master the art of moving in a really delicate yet impressive manner. Each 1.5 hour class will leave you breathless and filled with awesome memories.
