Held each year during the full moon in the tenth month of the Hindu calendar, Thaipusam is filled with many traditions and customs that fascinate locals and travellers alike. This year, come along on a free tour amidst the festivities at two key temples in Ipoh: Sri Maha Marimman Temple and Sri Subramaniar Temple.

While exploring and taking in the vibrant atmosphere, your guide will share stories about Hindu culture and mysteries of Thaipusam.

    Meet at Sri Subramaniar Temple: 140, Jalan Raja Musa Aziz, 30300 Ipoh, Perak (opposite to DR park)

    You will witness the Pooja, Milk Abhishegam, coconut smash and head shave at the temple. Your guide Sok Yin will share you the stories behind the ceremony.
